Pets & Loving Seniors (PALS)
Pets provide many links in the chain of wellness for the elderly. Companionship and unconditional love are the linchpins, giving the older person a focus and someone to share their days.
Veterinary Assistance
West Sound PAWS helps hundreds of families every year with pets suffering from illness or injury. We partner with multiple vet clinics in our service area that can provide information on our Veterinary Assistance program.

Low-Income Spay & Neuter
If you’d like to spay/neuter your pet but aren’t sure where to start, call us. We’ll get you pointed in the right direction and offer assistance if your finances are tight. Let’s get started!
Safe Harbor
Knowing that a pet is safe and well cared for allows families to concentrate on getting back on their feet so they can be reunited with their beloved furry friends. PAWSBINK currently offers 30 days of complementary boarding for cats, which may be extended dependent on circumstances.

Last Litter
The Last Litter Program was created to support families with pregnant cats. Cat pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care can be challenging—especially for families without prior experience. West Sound PAWS has a dedicated team of experienced volunteer foster families who work to ensure the best possible outcomes for pregnant cats and their litters.
Pet Food Bank
The West Sound PAWS Pet Food Bank program provides cat food and dog food to food banks on Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap. These food banks distribute the pet food in the same way they distribute food to help hungry families – mostly through families visiting the food banks.

Pet Care Library
How do I keep my new kitten healthy? What advice do you have for choosing a pet sitter? How can I find a lost dog or cat? These answers and more are available from our Pet Care Library.
